The Westchester Resilience Coalition formed in 2018 to build awareness of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) as a public health concern. The Coalition, made up of many organizations that have a history of interest in trauma-informed practice, seeks to foster individual, family and community resilience by supporting the development of creative responses to the challenge of ACEs.
In collaboration with the Mid-Hudson Regional Youth Justice Team, we have produced two tools that can bring information about resilience to your communities. Explore our Facilitator Guide and Facilitator Handouts. Both tools can help you confidently design and present a screening and discussion for your community or organization. (If you are part of the Mid-Hudson Regional Youth Justice Team, email outreach@wlsmail.org to be mailed copies of these materials.)
