NYS SOC Provider Wellness Training: Promoting Compassion Resilience – Video 4

This video synthesizes the content from the first three sessions and provides an opportunity to review and reflect on what you have learned and the implications. You will identify ways to move towards putting knowledge into practice, promoting compassion and professional resilience within yourself and the staff in your organization.

This video is one of a series of four videos.

This series on Provider Wellness is designed to assist human services agencies to proactively address staff health and wellness. Each of the videos in this series will provide information on aspects of employee wellness and resilience. This reflection guide will provide questions and activities for viewers, including individual staff and organizational leadership, to dig deeper and spend time planning to integrate these practices into their work. The content in the series is adapted from the New York State Trauma-Informed Network and Resource Center’s Trauma-Responsive and Resilience-Informed Care (Tending the Roots – though it is referenced with the old name in the videos and content) training curriculum, which provides foundational knowledge on the effects of toxic stress, trauma, and adversity on health and well-being.

This video training series was developed by Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI) in partnership with New York State Office of Mental Health and funded by Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. via Cooperative Agreement H79SM082962-03, to enhance training offerings available statewide.
