The Brooklyn Parenting Center’s mission is to provide universal access to integrated social and emotional support throughout the first thousand days of life for all patients at Maimonides Medical Center.
Our vision at BPC is to inspire and support families to become the parents they want to be. We will do this using evidence-based models of care that address unmet social and emotional needs while empowering and educating families on optimizing positive development for their children.
Our team of maternal-child health specialists (social workers, care coordinators, care navigators, care managers) work to ensure universal screenings (social needs, mental health, behavioral health) and connections to community partners, provide integrated collaborative socioemotional care, and concrete goods for families in need.
