First and foremost, I practice peer support. I’ve served on NYS Medicaid redesign workgroups, with the focus of dual recovery. A wonderful accomplishment was to have Hepatitis C Harvoni treatment brought into Medicaid coverage. Hey Peers, the online platform I’ve been with for over ten years, connects people from around the world with certified peer supporters and organizations. It covers many life experiences including substance use, mental health, LGBTQ, narcolepsy, DBSA, C-PTSD, Postpartum, justice involved, veterans and more.
