NYS TINRC 2026 Quarterly Network Meeting *new date*

February 4 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Free

If you haven’t registered yet for our Quarterly Network Meeting, there is still time! Our re-scheduled meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 4th from 9-10am. If you have already registered, you do not need to register again. You will receive an updated Zoom link in a separate email.

Morning Connections: Skills and Networking

Join the NYS Trauma-Informed Network and Resource Center for our 2026 Quarterly Networking Series.

Each quarter, we will introduce a specific “Micro-Practice”, an actionable, trauma-responsive skill centered on a key theme.

We’ll spend the first 20 minutes introducing a concept and a tool you can use immediately. The rest of the hour is yours: we’ll move into Regional Breakout Rooms where you can practice the tool, discuss how it applies to your local work, and build stronger connections with peers in your area. Come for the skill-building, stay for the community!

Session 1: Moving Through Conflict: Trauma-Informed Conflict Practices

Conflict is inevitable, but how we navigate it can change and change us! In this session, we’re serving up a “micro-practice” on staying grounded when tensions rise. We will look at some of the connections between trauma and conflict and how to move from reaction to response during disagreements. We’ll introduce a quick tool for perspective shifting in disagreements that honors the dignity of everyone involved.

  • The Skill: A 3-step tool for moments of friction or disagreement
  • The Network: Connect with your region to discuss how conflict shows up in your sector and practice the tool together.
