Instructor’s Edition: Tending the Roots Training

The primary purpose of this initiative is to increase trauma informed training capacity statewide by creating a network of available trainers and champions to increase awareness and effective response with respect to Trauma Informed Care (TIC) at the local and community level.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the materials and training program for Tending the Roots
- Teach the Tending the Roots program as planned
- Build your confidence as a trainer
Training Details:
Days 1 & Day 2: Monday, September 29th & Tuesday, September 30th, 2025
Day 3: Tuesday, October 7th, 2025
Time: 9am-5pm (all days)
Location for Days 1 & 2: Castleton-on-Hudson (location details provided on acceptance)
Location for Day 3: Virtual via Zoom
