From Burned Out to Burning Bright Resiliency Conference

October 21, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

$25

Burnout is a common experience, particularly in helping professions, where the demanding nature of work can lead to significant vicarious and toxic stress. Balancing professional duties with personal responsibilities, such as work commitments, assisting others, and caring for family members, can quickly consume our time and life like an extinguishing flame. It is essential to recognize the signs of burnout that arise when we neglect to pause and prioritize self-care.
Join Trauma-Informed Communities in Allegany County and Western New York as we delve into topics such as vicarious trauma, toxic stress, and strategies to rekindle our inner resilience, transitioning from burnout to burning bright.

This one-day conference is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the esteemed Houghton University in the charming setting of Houghton, New York. This event is designed for individuals committed to enriching their communities and supporting others. Educators, social workers, healthcare professionals, mental health practitioners, human service providers, emergency responders, clergy members, law enforcement personnel, and individuals susceptible to burnout are encouraged to participate.
