Building Strong Foundations for Children, Families, and Communities ConferenceBuilding Strong Foundations for Children, Families, and Communities Conference

August 14 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

$65

The Building Strong Foundations for Children, Families, and Communities Conference is a dynamic, one-day event bringing together early childhood professionals, educators, healthcare providers, social service organizations, and community leaders from across the region. Hosted at Alfred University, this conference focuses on strengthening the systems that support the healthy development and well-being of young children (ages 0–5) and their families.

Grounded in trauma-informed, resilience-based, and developmentally informed practices, the conference will offer a range of engaging workshops and interactive sessions designed to equip participants with practical tools and strategies they can immediately apply in their work. Topics will include early brain development, social-emotional regulation, family engagement, community resilience, and cross-sector collaboration.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn from experienced practitioners and regional experts
  • Explore innovative, evidence-informed approaches to early childhood development
  • Gain hands-on strategies to support children and caregivers
  • Build connections across disciplines to strengthen community support systems

This conference is designed to empower those who serve children and families, fostering a shared commitment to creating nurturing environments where all children can thrive. By investing in early relationships, responsive care, and resilient communities, we can collectively build a stronger foundation for the future.
