Trauma Responsive and Resilience Informed Care Training of Trainers (Newburgh, NY)

The New York State Trauma-Informed Network and Resource Center (TINRC) is comprised of individuals and organizations across New York State interested in advancing trauma-responsive practices.  Capacity building is a significant goal of the TINRC, and we are thrilled to offer the Trauma Responsive and Resilience Informed Care curriculum to build foundational knowledge on the effects of stress, trauma, and adversity on health and well-being This curriculum will serve as a standard approach to training on Trauma Informed Care across the state, with multiple pathways for engaging.  Individuals and organizations are invited to attend training to acquire the foundational knowledge offered in the comprehensive curriculum.  Organizations can also send staff to participate in a train the trainer to create a sustainable training model. These trainers can then share this knowledge broadly across the state increasing the capacity of individuals and organizations to promote trauma-responsive, equity-focused practices that support holistic health across New York.

Training is scheduled for:

  • Day 1: Wednesday, March 13, 2024 | 9:00am – 4:30pm (in-person)*
  • Day 2: Thursday, March 14, 2024 | 9:00am – 4:30pm (in-person)*
  • Day 3: Friday, March 22, 2024 | 9:00am – 4:30pm (virtual via Zoom)
